emf.installs.ski.lodge.disco.dirty.thirty.art.opening

This Saturday, dem Project SF boys, Redd Foxx,Special Blend and myself are doing the damn thing for the first big rail competition of the season. After the party it's the afterparty...and so on. Do girls show up to these things?

Next Tuesday(12/19), the Otherside Cafe hosts the opening reception for dirty thirty members Esteban Hernandez and Jon Allen. I'll be djing and The Beat Awfuls (feat. members of the lot six) are playing.

We already missed the opening reception for this, but duns around central sq. should check out the current show- WRECK- from EMF Installsat 120 Brookline St. Dubbed the King of Zines by Tokion magazine, Alex Lucas(Cambridge native dun!) has been making handmade zines and artist books since 2001 resulting in 15 titles and 1500 copies under the cantab publishing flag. Getting nods from NY times, Swindle, the Village Voice, Beautiful/Decay, and more, Alex's piece beautifies brookline ave 24 hours a day through Jan 10th. pretty.

make way for the sov

Peace to all the duns and dunnies who made it out to the see my opening sets at Lady Sovereign and then Ali Shaheed(ATCQ) the next night. Both nights were bangin/sold-out/ball-drainingly-good and yes, SOV does live up to the hype. Don't sleep on the french canadian ragga bass beat madness that Ghislain brings either. When's that UK tour dropping w/ Frampster?
