Kem sent these over late last night...enjoy

Also, Korean cinema is the new French cinema (bitch):

  • Oldboy was probably the best movie of 2003 and a perfect example of the imaginative new world of filme produced by our kimchee eating brethren. Not the best movie to watch while on shrooms.

  • Save the Green Planet's trailer has really annoying pop-punk song in it, but gives a glimpse of another hidden cinematic gem. Props to Tommy & Molesteban for getting me up on this.

some old walls

Forgot to post this but, last weekend we put together a wall for the Arts Central Festival. It was a seemingly schizophrenic assortment of area artists doing live works all over central square. My pick for best of show was: highschool style glamour shots at taxman! Thanks to audio, soem, nickz, never and especially Jackie Robinson for setting it all up.

doze during sneaker pimps boston

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Sneaker Pimps Boston stop. We had some serious problems with the Avalon door staff and management as they raised the door price by $10, changed the dress code, and just made everything extremely difficult for anyone trying to attend the event. Shit got sorted out eventually, but I think i know why Lansdowne st. is dying a slow death from lack of attendance. Special thanks to Phone, Matt and Never for putting in crazy hours. Uncle Bob & myself already miss the crew of Pete and Mae who bring this art show around the globe. Next stop is NYC October 6th. Check here for info. Only half the collection was on display at the show due to a late shipment. Go peep nyc.

new dub blends

click for bigger

I recorded these last night in between catching glimpses of the Deerhoof and Dr. Dog shows across the street. All of the blends follow the simple equation of dub instrumental w/ current mindless hip hop vocals over to varying degrees of success. I gotta say that the "Many Men", "Sugar", "White Tee", and "Dirt Off Ya Shoulda" blends came out exceptionally well.
