Aesop rock and Mr. Lif sold out the middle east yesterday. DJ Big Wiz -usually EL-P's dj , recently on tour with Hangar18- built beats from scratches and a loop pedal. Aesop and Lif worked well with each other on stage, throwing out a lyrically dense set that worked the crowd. Last time they played this stage they had a set skit where Aesop and Lif talk about quitting smoking. This time they did something about Lif's hair to intro his dirty south influenced song "Good Hair". Bounce backpackers.

• The new edition of TV CARNAGE comes out april 25. A sore for sighted eyes. Did anyone else think that part where they edited a German Shit porno into the intro for Three's company was genius?
